Anjali
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Anjali is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and is expected to complete this in 2024. Anjali values respect, compassion and honesty. In her spare time, Anjali likes Netball, animals and travelling. Anjali is passionate about being in the Peer Mentor Program as she is looking to establish a career to make a difference to those in the community and the Peer Mentor role would also help her to be a role model to others and help her learn and grow as an individual.

Bree-Elle
Therapy Assistant
Bree-Elle is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and is in her final year. Bree-Elle is a bubbly, outgoing and friendly individual. She enjoys playing netball and loves being outdoors. Bree-Elle has experience working as a disability support worker and is passionate about working with individuals with varying disabilities. She strives to facilitate independence and make a positive impact on all participants, while assisting them to reach their goals.

Bridget
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Bridget is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and is expected to complete this in 2023. Bridget values compassion, respect and honesty. In her spare time, Bridget likes walking her dog, reading and travelling. Bridget is looking forward to being able to help people do the things they want to do and assist them in achieving their goals.

Conor
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Conor is currently studying Occupational Therapy. Conor is caring, resilient and respectful. In his spare time, Conor enjoys football, basketball, golf, the beach, the outdoors, and movies. A skill that Conor has is that he can surf and has gone snorkelling in the past. Conor is passionate about being in the Peer Mentor Program as he enjoys spending time with other people, and he also finds the Peer Mentor role fulfilling.

Daniel
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Daniel is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. He is enthusiastic, compassionate and loyal. Daniel enjoys sports such as soccer, basketball, football and cricket. He also has a passion for music, especially guitar and piano. Daniel also likes heading outdoors for walks and running as well as playing board games and card games with friends. He finds the Peer Mentor program very rewarding as he gets to have a positive impact on the lives of participants.

Ellie
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Ellie is currently studying a bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Ellie is a caring and friendly individual. She enjoys playing many sports including netball and athletics and loves to be outside. Ellie loves spending time and socialising with friends and family and listening to music. Ellie believes a peer mentors role is rewarding as you get to see the people that you work with develop and achieve their goals in a positive environment.

Felicity
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Felicity is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University with her expected completion coming in 2025. Felicity’s top values are being inclusive, respectful and honest. In her spare time, Felicity enjoys horses and horse riding, animals in general (Felicity owns many of her own), and outdoor activities such as hiking. A niche skill that Felicity has is that she can speak some basic French and also has a basic understanding of the flute and saxophone. Felicity believes that the Peer Mentor program is fantastic as it allows participants some freedom outside of their home environment and allows for meaningful interaction with others.

Isaac
Therapy Assistant
Isaac is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Deakin University and is in his final year. Isaac has a keen interest in working with participants of all ages and abilities in the community. Isaac is a friendly, respectful, and kind individual who enjoys soccer, tennis, music, and being outdoors. With prior experience as a support worker, he is passionate about supporting participants to increase their confidence and independence in the activities they enjoy.

Lachlan
Therapy Assistant
Lachlan is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and is expected to complete his studies in 2023. Lachlan is passionate about providing others with the support and guidance they require to promote their independence and participation in activities they love. Lachlan values trust, respect, honesty and fun whilst empowering others. Lachlan enjoys all sports, particularly football and cricket, and enjoys taking his dog to the beach

Oliver
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Ollie is currently studying Occupational Therapy and is expected to complete it by 2024. Ollie is caring, loyal and respectful. In his spare time, Ollie enjoys football, tennis, basketball, movies and surfing. A skill that Ollie has is that he can surf and has gone snorkelling in the past. Ollie is passionate about being in the Peer Mentor Program as he wants to work in an environment that is rewarding, making a positive impact in the world and wants to learn more about the disability field and Occupational Therapy.

Paige
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Paige is currently in her final year of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and is expected to complete her studies by the end of 2023. She enjoys being outdoors, pilates, being with friends and family, playing with her golden retriever, art, and music. Paige is passionate about the Peer Mentor role as it empowers individuals to achieve their goals and grow their independence. She is happy when she sees others happy. Paige values kindness, respect, and honesty.

Phoebe
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Phoebe is currently studying Occupational Therapy and would love to obtain her Masters in Play Therapy. In her spare time she enjoys surfing, cooking, swimming, listening to music, soccer and volunteering with Ocean Mind. Phoebe is caring, trustworthy, honest and optimistic. She is passionate about working with a broad range of people to make a positive impact on their lives.

Ruby
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Ruby is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and hopes to have her studies completed by 2024. Ruby says that she wanted to become a Peer Mentor so that she can learn and grow alongside new people and to have an impact on others in the community. Ruby has an interest in sailing, netball and reading. One of her niche skills is being able to play chess, as not many people play chess these days. Ruby values organisation, being patient and being caring.

Skye
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Skye is currently studying Occupational Therapy at University and wishes to have her studies completed by 2024. She is passionate about volunteering and helping out wherever she can. Throughout school she was able to volunteer at 4 different child disability support services and cannot wait to be role model and support individuals in everyday life. Skye has interests in having fun, sport, exercising and being outdoors. Skye values honesty, trust and giving everything she has to what she is doing.

Sophie
Peer Mentor/Therapy Assistant
Sophie is studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. She is compassionate, respectful and honest. Sophie’s hobbies include sailing, music, horse riding, watching footy, going to the beach and catching up with friends. Sophie is passionate about helping participants achieve their goals and ambitions in life. She wants to help her participants increase their confidence and independence in activities they love.
